06-03-2024

Here at Gautrey Engineering we are once again proud to announce that we will be partnering with the Fen Model Show team to bring you Fen Model Show 2024. We have supported this event since it started 3 years ago, making trophies, stands and helping out with the event on the day. We are thrilled that the show has thrived over the past 2 years bringing world class miniature painters from all over the world together in our local area to celebrate their work. Today the show has become one of the UK’s most prestigious show to enter and we are over the moon with how it has grown. We want to take this opportunity to wish all our customers and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year this year a flown by and we have enjoyed working with everyone. This year saw the retirement of long serving Director Martin Gautrey and the new appointment of our current MD’s Kevin and Martin Collier. We hope you have had a chance to meet them and have enjoyed working with the, we certainly have. They have brought a new revived angle to our old company bringing in new equipment and current methods to machining. Parts are now being made faster and in larger volumes than ever before. To thank the team for a hard years work we celebrated by having a well earned day off with games, food and plenty of drink. The team took part in an escape room at Lockhouse Escape Games in Cambridge and managed to escape in 42 minutes and 6 seconds then went on to Slingers to compete in arcade style darts against each other. The staff all had a great time and sore heads over the weekend. We hope to see and hear everyone in 2024 to do it all over again.
